All of the resulting extracts underwent qualitative screening using techniques like High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and UV Visible Spectroscopy. In vitro studies revealed that the crude extract and fractions of Cucurbita maxima seeds have total antioxidant and free radical scavenging properties. The Chick Chorioallantoic Membrane Assay (CAM), an in ovo assay, was used to assess the cardiovascular activity of the crude extract and its fractions. The study illustrated the findings by demonstrating the angiogenic impact, which indicated desired cardiovascular activity in the CAM Assay.
